सर मोक्षगुण्डम विश्वेश्वरय्या
(15 सितंबर 1860 — 14 अप्रैल 1962)
भारत के महान अभियन्ता एवं राजनयिक थे। उन्हें सन 1955 में भारत के सर्वोच्च सम्मान भारत रत्न से विभूषित किया गया था। भारत में उनका जन्मदिन अभियन्ता दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।

భారతదేశపు ఇంజనీరు, పండితుడు, రాజనీతిజ్ఞుడు. 1955లో అతనుకు భారతదేశపు అత్యున్నత పౌర పురస్కారమైన భారతరత్న లభించింది. అతను జన్మదినమైన సెప్టెంబరు 15ను ఇంజనీర్స్ డేగా జరుపుకుంటారు.
Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwaraya,

Sir Mokshagundam Vishveshwaraya was the first Indian civil engineer, statesman. He started his primary education in Bangalore, received his BSc degree from the University of Madras, and then Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of Bombay through its affiliated institution and 3rd oldest Engineering College in Asia, College of Engineering, Pune. He received India's highest honour, the Bharat Ratna, in 1955. His birthday, 15th September, is celebrated as Engineers' Day in India.He was the Chief Engineer of Krishna Raja Sagara dam in the north-west suburb of Mysuru city.
